Hi, I'm Fishguy. I am a Lake Fisherman.
As a hobby I created this website to further my own
knowledge about Lake Fishing and to fill a niche on the World Wide Web.
I am also known as Matt Wall. I live in Boise with my wonderful wife and
two kids. I am a home inspector,
checking out homes for home buyers. I work during the week so that I can fish
during the weekends. I work so that one day I can finally afford
that welded jet boat I have been dreaming about.
I do have a 12 foot aluminum boat that I troll
with. The boat has two electric trolling motors, and with both running
full tilt I can almost create a wake! I use a Bottom Line fish finder
that my Dad got me for Christmas, and I have found that the finder has greatly improved
my fishing success.
I also love to fish from the bank. With a two pole permit, a chair, and a cooler
I am set for the morning. Some people think bank fishing is just pick a spot and
throw in your rig. I have found that a little knowledge and thinking can make
bank fishing very interesting. It's great to be pulling in nice fish when the guy
down the lake is shaking his head.
It is my hope that this site will help other
fishermen out there gain some knowledge, and enjoy their sport a little more. The more
people that are fishing, the more our leaders will seek to protect our waters
and our outdoors lifestyle.
I hope that you fishermen out there in cyberspace that know stuff, will help us fishermen that
don't know so much. That is the aim of this website.
After fishing for 30 years I have realized that you can teach an old dog new tricks.
The more you know about your fishing water, the more fun you have, because you are
catching more and bigger fish.
I hope you learn a few tricks by visiting this website.
So...enjoy, and drop Matt (Fishguy) a line.
